One of my son's Chiari symptoms is difficulty finding the right words.

On one particular morning this almost got him into trouble.  That day, we had a plumbing problem, and as a result he was a few minutes late for school. His teacher asked why he was late.

"Because my grandpa had to do CPR on the toilet," he replied.

Outraged, the teacher took him to the principal's office and complained his smart mouth  had disrupted her class.

The principal heard the story and burst into laughter.  "His brain is too large for his skull," he explained.  "Obviously this is because his brain contains too many words, so finding the right one can be difficult."

No disciplinary action was taken.
